Premier Engineering has engaged with a key client and a world leader in low carbon power generation technologies, a very innovative and future thinking business. Due to an increase in new projects and team growth a new opportunity has arisen for an
- **Engine and Combustion Lead** to join on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Power Plant Manager and working closely with our Design team, you will lead the Engine and Combustion teams responsible for the development of a wide range of components and support the development of our next generation of Biofuels and Biogas for our revolutionary Generators.
You will identify and drive new technologies in design and manufacture, to produce optimum designs to the highest quality, and at the right cost to meet our customer & business requirements, directly contributing to the overall business success.

As the Lead Engineer, you will be a natural problem solver with the passion and drive to lead a high performing team to create and deliver world class products.
You will be someone who takes a hands-on approach and is dedicated to continuous improvement.

**What you’ll deliver to us**:
Lead the team to ensure delivery of sub system requirements.
Devolving requirements to the appropriate level
Day to day people management e.g. Reviewing objectives, team meetings, holiday and absence management.
Collaboration with peers in lead roles to ensure timely delivery of the teams milestones.

Adherence to Company policies.
Promote a culture of safe efficient work space.
Engineering ownership of the team’s issue management
Responsible for the integration of the sub-system parts and verification to ensure requirements are met
