Here at Beechenhurst Cafe we are looking for an energetic & enthusiastic person with a drive and focus on excelling in customer service whilst thriving when working as part of the team.

**The Role**

You will support and assist the smooth running of our café, as a member of the team you will;
- Ensure that we create a friendly, relaxing and professional environment.
- Give a warm welcome, making sure everyone feels valued.
- Support the team by ensuring effective communication skills
- Day to day operational responsibility; ensuring exemplary customer service, product presentation and cleanliness of the café at all times.
- Prepare & serve food and beverages: building relationships with customers upholding high service standards.
- Uphold quality standards, cleaning & opening/closing procedures.
- Ensuring you are fully aware of our products and allergens.
- Working weekends, school and public holidays as these are busiest times but a bonus of day shifts only, no evenings

**The Person**

To succeed as a Café Assistant you will;
- Have excellent communication skills. You will have the confidence to speak to a wide ranging group of people. Tolerance and kindness is valued in our team.
- Have some previous experience in a similar role
- Be self-motivated, with plenty of initiative.
- You also have experience of delivering exceptional service.
- Have a strong eye for detail, noticing the small things is what sets us apart.
- Have the ability to juggle lots of plates and manage a fast paced environment. Working well under pressure and delivering the best service is key.
