Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant to join our team. As a Cafe Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized cafe environment.

**Duties**:

- Assist with food preparation, including cutting vegetables, assembling sandwiches, and brewing coffee
- Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, taking orders and processing payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including wiping down tables, sweeping floors, and restocking supplies
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and freshness of all products
- Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the cafe

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations is a plus

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £11.00-£11.45 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 14 per week
