We are currently seeking a live-in Head Housekeeper/s to join our happy team at seasonal Trimstone Manor Country House Hotel. Accommodation, including most bills, comes with this job for the right person/s.

For one or two persons, the main position is permanent, equivalent full-time and full-year and includes paid holiday of four weeks per year. A second person would be on a permanent, part-time basis when needed throughout the season and when needed in the low season though they are not barred from external work and the main person at low season as long as the responsibilities are covered.

Cleaning and making-up rooms and cottages.

Cleaning front of house, restaurant, bar area and restrooms.

Laundry arrangements

Cook and serve full English breakfast

Oversee the hotel and cottages bookings throughout the year

Order supplies (Good IT skills required)

Provide Bar service if and when required

Reporting directly to the Owners.

Flexibility, initiative and enthusiasm are required during the demanding busy times which are compensated with the far lesser demands of the low season, so long days are balanced with very short days.

Trimstone Manor Country House Hotel and Cottages sits within 44 acres of rural North Devon and close to the award-winning beaches of Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton Sands. It is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding seaside towns for those that seek calm and tranquility whilst the antics of our Peacocks and Emu’s amuse them.
