**What you'll do**:

- Compile garage schedules that comply with labour agreements and meet legal requirements, maintaining and improving efficiency where possible.
- Ensure compliance with appropriate regulations, such as those set by the OTC, TfWM and DfT etc.
- Have due regard to the practical implementation of duties and rotas.
- Negotiate, with assistance from OMs where applicable, changes to duties, rotas and local labour agreements.
- Prepare data for tender submissions and provide advice on likely driver duty cost.
- Use Omnibus and/or other scheduling software to prepare bus and driver schedules.
- Comply with deadlines for service registrations and duty/rota posting.
- Prepare necessary electronic files, including TXC and EBSR files, for bus registrations, BODS data and other digital requirements.
- Prepare customer information including roadside timetables, printed and digital information including information on service changes.
- Analyse data using QData, CitySwift, Omnibus and other systems to assist network development and changes to local and company labour agreements.
- Supply, in a timely fashion, all associated paperwork and digital information to the Operations, Engineering and Finance teams to enable buses to operate effectively.

**What you'll need**:

- Strong local knowledge of bus operations and an understanding of the wider bus industry.
- Qualified by experience and an ability to demonstrate relevant knowledge.
- Self-motivated, intellectually curious and able to work on own initiative.
- Strong analytical skills and numerate.
- Well organised, responsive and able to work with multiple priorities.
- Proficient user of Omnibus and/or other scheduling systems, data analysis software (CitySwift, QData etc) and interfaces with other systems (preferred).
- Skilled in manual scheduling and ability to work in event of serious systems failure (preferred).
- The role may involve travel to other sites and offices.
- Previous work experience of passenger transport sector (preferred).
- Strong transport and related industry knowledge (preferred).
