Injection Moulding Setter Technician

A high-volume manufacturer of plastic consumables is seeking Injection Moulding Setter Technicians to join their busy team. Working in a state-of-the-art factory, with future investment planned on automation projects, you will be responsible as a team forensuring the smooth running of the shift ensuring world-class OEE.

**As Injection Moulding Setter Technician your duties will include -**
- Installing moulds in to the injection moulding machine as well as setting up all related ancillary equipment and materials.
- Start up, making necessary process adjustments, and troubleshoot production runs while ensuring that the moulding machine are running within specified parameters.
- Performing quality checks on parts that are being produced and documenting the findings.
- Have significant experience in working as a plastic injection Moulding Setter, Toolsetter, Process Technician or similar
- Be able to confidently carry out tool changes and condition set moulding machines
- Have experience of process optimising, ensuring waste is kept to a minimum and keeping cycle times within spec
- Be able to troubleshoot and promptly resolve any processing issues
