It's an exciting time to come and join the Sepura team. We are looking for a Technician to join our growing Electronics team.

Our Electronics Technicians are involved in supporting the development of new and existing products, developing test methods and designing automated test solutions for use during development.

**Your Role**

The role requires an enthusiastic, flexible individual who is keen to get stuck in to a variety of different challenges. You will need to be able to adapt to different requests as you work with the wider Electronics team to support development, bring-up and test of new radio products.

Our current Technicians will also provide support as you develop your skills and gain a better understanding of our products

**Your Day to Day**

As an Electronics Technician at Sepura, you will collaborate with cross-functional project teams across R&D. Activities you will be responsible for include:

- Surface mount assembly and rework
- Working with engineers to identify and document board modifications
- Design and assembly of test jigs
- Commissioning of radio products for engineering use
- Execution of electronics test plans
- Documentation of test results and faults
**What you need to succeed**
- Experience and Skills_
- Demonstrated experience in soldering and reworking components surface mount components down to 0201 size
- Core Electronics knowledge to support test execution and fault finding
- Familiarity with standard lab equipment, including bench power supplies, multimeters and oscilloscopes
- Qualifications_
- BTEC or HNC in Electronic Engineering or similar
