We are looking for a Senior Care Assistant 36 hours a week.

The person we are looking must have experience and good understanding of the following:

- Documentation - ensuring all conversations with professional ,residents, family and pharmacy are recorded accurately including request medications.
- Leading a team - able to direct staff and ensure all matters are addressed
- Team player - helping the team when its needed including support residents with care
- Ordering, Administrating and handling medications - an excellent understanding of the importance in handling and administrating medication this including boxed medication.
- Working with professionals - ensuring good communication and follow up conversation with professionals.
- Care planning - A good understanding of care planning, experience with electronic care planning is advantageous.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.

*

There will be an on call system which is shared out with all seniors but this will only be given after full training and a true understanding of the home and our residents.

We offer double time for all bank holidays and additional training team leading qualification can be obtained while working with us.

We would welcome any one who is interested in this role to come into our home and take a look around and ensuring we are the right fit for you.

The shift patterns will vary and will consist of 8-8, 8-2, 2-8.
