Adult Tutor

HWV offers employment,, education and training opportunities for local people. We have a vacancy to start January 2024:
Qualified Tutor - Adult Team - 30 hrs per week (term time only) £11.83 per hour Mon-Fri 9am-3pm

An ideal position for someone who is looking for a role in education. This will be working with adults aged 19+ with a range of abilities to help improve their confidence and achieve basic qualifications. Essential relevant Teaching Qualification and some experience in teaching required.

This post will also include providing information, advice and support to adult learners to help break down their barriers to learning and enable them to achieve their qualifications and personal goals. We need a special person who is an active listener and who is able to establish trust with learners.

We require excellent communication skills, good IT skills, able to work independently, Information, advice and guidance qualification desirable.

This position will require a Criminal Record Check with the DBS.
