A great opportunity to work within an exciting credit risk team at a very successful Energy company in South London has come up. This position will lead the manual and automated underwriting team to determine credit lines for their business customers.

**THE ROLE**

Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Credit Risk Manager to lead the manual and automated underwriting team

Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Lead and manage a team of underwriters to ensure timely and accurate credit decisions are made for our business customers.
- Analyse and interpret credit data and financial statements to determine creditworthiness of potential and existing customers.
- Develop, implement, and maintain underwriting policies and procedures that align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders including senior management, credit bureaus, and credit insurance providers.
- Review and provide recommendations for credit risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and manage risk effectively.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic indicators that may impact the company's credit risk profile.

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Good Knowledge of SQL
- Experience leading a team
- Experience running a decision engine
- Underwriting experience
- Open on industry experience

**SALARY AND BENEFITS**
- £65,000 - £80,000 base salary
- Discretionary Bonus (20%)
