Forklift Operative

We are seeking to recruit a Fork Lift Operative on a permanent full time basis, to support business growth, continued investment and holiday cover at the Saica Pack Warrenpoint plant. We manufacture packaging solutions using high speed Production and printing machines, robotics and automated materials handling in a high volume and demanding environment. You will be required to work permanent night shifts on a weekly basis.

As part of a fully flexible team working across despatch, you will need to be able to demonstrate excellent team working skills, problem solving and innovation to ensure the smooth running of the manufacturing process, whilst working at all times in a safety first manner. The breakdown of nightshift hours are:
Monday to Thursday 11pm - 7am (Includes 1*12 hour shift i.e 7pm-7am)

**Main Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Load and unload vehicles as directed in a safe, effective and timely manner
- Receiving and Unloading Lorries.
- Fork Lift truck driving for the movement of products.
- Receiving and checking goods - checking quantities against paperwork.
- Location of goods within warehouses.
- Use of computerised inventory systems.
- Booking out loads using computerised inventory systems.

**Essential Experience/ Qualities**
- Have counterbalance forklift Certificate
- Previous Factory/Warehouse experience
- Attention to detail
- Good communication
- A team player-capable of working alone or with other team staff
- Able to use own initiative
- Able to follow the company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Work closely with key clients and conduct yourself in a professional manner.
- Instruct and follow company procedures.
- Move and stack materials.
- Computer literate.

**Salary**: £18.17 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
