Dental Receptionist

We are looking for a dedicated Dental Receptionist to join our team.

**About us**

We are an independent, family run dental practice, offering mostly private dental care in the Clifton Moor area of York.

In addition to general dentistry, the practice also offers Invisalign & CFast, facial aesthetics, endodontics by referral, dental implants & oral surgery and cosmetic dentistry.

We strive to provide the highest standard and quality of dental care in a friendly welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and relaxed.

**About you**
- Good organisational skills and timekeeping, with impeccable attention to detail
- IT literate - Excel, Word and Outlook. Knowledge of SOE dental software is desirable
- Dental experience desirable, but not essential
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
- Reliable, flexible, trustworthy and a team player
- Proactive with drive and commitment to achieve the desired goals
- Have excellent admin and record keeping abilities

**Role Summary**
- Promote a professional image of the practice
- Provide patients & visitors to the practice with a warm welcome, making them feel at ease
- Offer patients an exceptional level of customer service and assistance
- Work with your team to create a positive, high-energy atmosphere
- Provide knowledgeable information about the services the practice provides
- Answer the telephone in a friendly and helpful manner
- Schedule appointments and complete patient recalls and appointment reminders
- Liaise with dentists and referring practitioners
- Develop practice growth and increase patient uptake
- Follow up individual patient lists with the aim of converting patients and generating revenue
- Discuss & follow up treatment plans
- Sign up patients to our dental membership scheme
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions and activities
- General administration duties
