Launderette Assistant

THIS IS A PART TIME POSTION, HOURS INCLUDE WEEKENDS AND SOME OVERTIME. MUST BE FLEXIBLE. IMMEDIATE START.

The role of the Launderette Assistant is to run the shop, serve our customers, undertake service washes, assist with self service customers and manage the laundered items awaiting collection. The job requires good time keeping, good organisation, cleaning and polite and careful handling of our customers and their clothes.

Detailed Description:

- Washing, drying and folding customers clothing for service washes
- Maintaining safe and secure working environment with regard to health and safety
- Keeping the laundry room clean and tidy; mopping floors, clean and sanitize washing machines and dryers
- Greeting customers, answering phones
- Dealing with customers in a professional and polite manner
- Workng out customer bills

A launderette assistant must possess strong customer service and good communication skills. Must be organized, a capable problem-solver and able to follow instructions.

Experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given, this post will require you to work on your own initiative and independently.
