Hospital Chaplain

Mid Cheshire Hospital Foundation Trust is looking to appoint a Chaplain who is able to work creatively and flexibly to provide and facilitate high quality Spiritual, Pastoral, and Religious care to patients, visitors, and staff of all faith and beliefs. The chaplain will be based at Leighton Hospital

The chaplain will work collaboratively as part of a team of Trust Chaplains, Volunteer Chaplains and visiting Faith Leaders and will share in maintaining a 24/7 on call service that includes Weekends and Bank Holidays.

Working reflectively, the chaplain will have a high degree of self-awareness and a natural ability to sensitively come alongside those who use and provide Trust services.

The Chaplain will increase the profile of the department by having a visible presence around the hospital, promoting the importance of spiritual needs within a healthcare culture that supports patient centred, holistic care.
