**Film & Media Studies Teacher**

**Location: Greenwich, South East London**

**Salary: £140 - £210 per day**

**Contract: Long Term Cover**

GSL Education are currently looking to appoint an exceptional Film & Media Teacher for a long term cover role for an outstanding secondary school in South East London. **Film & Media Studies Teacher Job Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that teaching objectives and the curriculum content in your lessons conform to the policies and plans of the Curriculum Area and the school
- Contribute to the development of the Film and Media curriculum across Key Stages 4 and 5.
- Assure the potential of young people of all abilities, ages, and backgrounds.
- Adapt and differentiate teaching to ensure students of all abilities learn and progress
- To teach Film and Media Studies across the ability range at Key Stages 4 and 5.
- To monitor student progress and set targets to ensure expected progress is achieved.
- To mark and assess work regularly and to take part in the department’s quality assurance Procedures.
- Ensure equality of opportunity for all students in order that they may achieve to the best of their ability.
- Experience of teaching Media Studies in a previous role.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess QTS, PGCE, BED or QTLS.
