We are looking for a Workflow Lead in our sample management company department in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.

As workflow lead you will perform a variety of Sample Management and/or Archives responsibilities in compliance with appropriate SOP’s and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Clinical Practice (GCP) or Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations.

You will perform your daily job assignments attached as well as monitoring on a daily basis the assigned workflow to ensure all priorities are completed. You will be accountable to research and recommend resolution to issues, liaising with other departments when needed, work with global counterparts to ensure processes and SOPs are well defined, and any problems are resolved in a timely manner.

You will use your knowledge and experience to support the Sample Management team, Archive Services team and supervisors.

**Job responsibilities include**:

- Organize meetings as appropriate with the team to discuss workflow and pending issues as well as prioritise any critical task.
- Directs and re-directs team members to accommodate volume changes and client deadlines.
- Ensure all samples and/or materials are scheduled and handled per received, stored, shipped, and/or disposed as appropriate.
- Helps manage and/or alerts management or non-routine issues.
- Provides guidance and best practices for Sample Management and Archives Services.
- Provides input on SOPs and other QDMS documents as needed.
- Act as mentor answering questions and providing other training as needed.
- Assumes leadership role in the supervisor’s absence

- Competent ability to use several software packages i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook
- Experience working in a fast pace environment
- Demonstrable knowledge of working to SOP’s, GMP and GLP
