Consumables Technician

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Consumables Technician to join a well-established business based in Royston. A consumables manufacturing team has been created to supply the marketplace with high quality goods to meet the rapidly increasing demandsof sales. The Consumables Technician will be part of the production team responsible for the hands-on assembly and testing of products. The holder of the position will also work with the production team and other internal functions to continuously identifydesign, process, and efficiency improvements.

Main Responsibilities:

- Hand assembly of intricate plastic and metallic parts
- Prepare materials required for weekly production
- Ensure that production documentation is correctly recorded and is kept up to date
- Ensure that the production tooling is in good operable condition and report / liaise with engineering if repairs are required
- Pack completed consumables in the correct packaging
- Enter data into the production records as required
