We are currently supporting a global logistics firm with a working site based in Swadlincote, with their need to recruit an additional Finance Assistant to support them on their growth trajectory.
The Finance Assistant will report into the Finance and Administration Manager, providing finance and customs support, including invoicing and reporting. The Finance Assistant can expect a salary between £25,000 - £27,000 per annum + AAT study support.
You will be welcomed in to a fun and engaging working environment, with the opportunity to progress and develop.
This role would suit someone who thrives under pressure, is adaptable with strong use of own initiative.

**Finance Assistant Responsibilities**:

- Produce weekly revenue and cost information
- Raise invoices, POs and accruals per invoice within agreed SLA
- Issue POs for all costs including requests from sites
- Action new supplier requests, including set up on portal, submitting bank details to accounts
- Produce weekly removal reports, resolve failed removals
- Assist with completing stock comparisons and management of port charges

**Finance Assistant Requirements**:

- Previous invoicing experience
- Customs knowledge
- desirable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
