Our client are seeking an experienced and professional Warehouse Operative to join their team on a full-time permanent basis in Sleaford. They specialise in nutrition across multiple sectors; by developing, manufacturing and supplying high performance products.

The role is offered with a remuneration of £28,085. This is a rare opportunity for us to represent this client as retention rates are very high in staff, and these positions are down to growth; so you know you'll be working for an established and reputable company. Your working hours are Monday - Friday 08:00 - 18:00 with a 30 minute unpaid break.

As a Warehouse Operative you will be managing all raw materials into Sleaford in good condition in full using the company bar code scanning equipment. To despatch all finished products from Sleaford in good condition in full. Comply with all company Health + Safety procedures and requirements, ensuring that All drivers comply with company rules. Managing stocks and maintaining housekeeping standards, to ensure the warehouse space is totally utilised at all times and to work to a FIFO basis to have complete stock control. You will be a highly valued member of the production team at Sleaford reporting directly to the Senior Warehouse Operative. The Warehouse operative will need to build a strong and trusting working relationship with all others within the Factory including:

- Effective communication is required with all departments on a daily basis with regards to stock locations for finished goods and raw materials.
- Effective communication is required specifically with production, planner, QC and Technical.
- Effective communication with Kime, pallet supplier, and forklift company.

Your principle responsibilities shall include:

- Ensure that all drivers comply with the requirements whilst on site.
- Ensure compliance with Environmental legislation.
- To proactively use the company Business system IFS (Apps10) to meet the requirements of the role and to actively seek support and training where required.
- Loading and unloading of both finished goods and raw material palletised products in compliance with written procedures and work instructions.
- Responsible for repairing any damaged pallets/bags created during the day in accordance with written procedures and work instructions.
- Stock counts to be completed.
- Warehouse housekeeping standards maintained in accordance with written procedures and work instructions.
- Ensuring that the bar code scanners are maintained and in good condition, report any issues to the admin team leader.
- Reporting any Health & Safety issues
- Responsible for contacting forklift truck supplier when required.
- Responsible for ensuring the warehouse/yard is kept tidy.
- Responsible for ensuring warehouse buildings and doors are kept in good order.
- Fork Truck Counter Balance Licenced Operator.
- Good communications skills.
