People & Culture Business Partner - Foundation Scotland

**Role**: 0.6 FTE (flexibility to increase to 0.8 FTE)

Location - home based, within Central Scotland, or within easy reach of this area

**Starting salary**: £61,004

Since 1996, Foundation Scotland has helped distribute more than £170 million to charities and community groups across the country, supporting the development of happier, fairer, and more sustainable communities.

We support philanthropists to help their personal giving make the most difference. We work with donors to invest in community action that enables people and places to flourish. We work in partnership with communities to maximise opportunities from place-based funds. And we offer social investment opportunities to enable social enterprises, community organisations and charities to grow and deliver positive social impact.

We are creating a new role to lead on our people, culture and engagement. This is our first in-house senior people expert position, which will be integral to the latest stage of our ambitious plan to grow the capacity of the organisation.

As a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) you will report to, and work closely with, the CEO and the senior team providing expert counsel where required to help deliver our Strategic Plan.

You will have the confidence to lead on the development and implementation of our People Plan, with a focus on learning and development, wellbeing, and performance management, while demonstrating a passion for employee growth and developing the next generation of leaders within the organisation.

Ideally you must be an experienced leader with exceptional people skills, who inspires through an ability to develop trusting, collaborative and effective relationships across an organisation.
