Quality Improvement Facilitator

NHS Ayrshire & Arran are seeking an enthusiastic self-motivated individual with a keen interest in developing their Quality Improvement (QI) skills and knowledge. You will be part of the QI team and play a key role in driving and supporting improvement and quality using validated QI methodology and tools. You will be involved in promoting and supporting the Scottish Patient Safety Programme (SPSP) agenda with a particular focus on the current SPSP Falls/Deteriorating Patient collaborative and NHS Ayrshire and Arran’s planned Pressure Ulcer Collaborative. Additionally you will support the progression and delivery of our successful QI Foundation educational programme and act as a mentor for these undertaking QI education.

You must be able to demonstrate an ability to engage with clinical teams and support them to use QI methodology. Furthermore, you must be able to demonstrate the ability to understand and help others to use data effectively for improvement.

Full driving licence is required.

Hours: 30 per week
