**About the role**

Invigilating tests sat by our learners at various points through their learning journey, our Invigilators ensure that all policies are adhered to, keeping compliance at the heart of what they do, while ensuring that all learners are given an excellent and standardised experience at what can be a high stress time.

You will get involved with tasks such as:

- 1-1 invigilation of Functional Skills assessments remotely (i.e. using technology to invigilate a learner in a different location)
- Provide support to the learner before, during and after their assessment session
- Problem solve to deal with any issues or difficulties during an assessment
- Complete an invigilator report for each assessment
- Support quality assurance activities of assessments
- Attend training and standardisation activities
**About you**

In order to be successful in this role you must:

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Confident in using technology for communicating (e.g. video-call and conference-call software)
- Attention to detail and focus
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Understanding of data protection procedures and the importance of maintaining confidentiality
- _Desirable: _
- Previous experience if invigilating assessments (face-face or remotely) is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
- Experience of working in an education setting and/or with learners would be an advantage.
