**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure the best terms and prices for materials and services.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels.
- To compile and send out RFQs for products within our manufacturing portfolio in order to support the timely placement of POs in line with our production schedules.
- Raising Purchase orders against project demand, to ensure all POs are placed in accordance with JDR requirements and are in line with the suppliers quote.
- Regular expedite all open orders, and to look continuously at any opportunity to bring in orders sooner to meet our manufacturing schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
**Skills**:
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to build strong relationships with suppliers.
- Proficient in contract management and understanding legal terms and conditions.
- Strong analytical skills to analyse market trends, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
