Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for specification writing and a passion for food? We're seeking a Specification Technologist to join our team at Valeo Foods UK. Playing a pivotal role in reviewing and maintaining customer and branded specifications across all our sites and customer base.
- ** Specification Management**: Coordinate and manage customer and brand specifications systems to meet deadlines and ensure accuracy.
- ** Data Management**: Check and manage data in systems like Hamilton Grant, ensuring the accuracy of specification information.
- ** Customer Engagement**: Provide specifications to meet customer expectations and provide labelling and nutritional advice as needed.
- ** Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work closely with NPD, Marketing, Packaging, and other teams to ensure timely generation of pack copy and approval of artwork.
- ** Process Improvement**: Assist in developing and using our specification system to streamline workflows and improve accuracy.
- ** Other Tasks**: Handle additional tasks as required by your manager to ensure compliance and efficiency.

**Qualifications**
- ** Attention to Detail**: Ability to maintain accuracy in specification information.
- ** International Spec (desriable)**:Experience of dealing with international specifications both in Europe and further afield
- ** Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to influence and persuade.
- ** Technical Skills**: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based software, with a desire to problem solve and gather data.
- ** Prioritisation**: Ability to balance immediate and longer-term tasks effectively.
- ** Retailer Standards**: Sound knowledge of current retailer standards and experience building key relationships with customers.
- ** Continuous Improvement**: Focused on driving continuous improvement and efficiency.
- ** Collaborative**: Ability to work collaboratively across teams and sites.
