Head of Marketing and Communications at Wildheart

**Hours**:Full-time and part time (4 days) considered, permanent

We are working in partnership The Wildheart Trust, a registered charity, which works globally to rescue animals from harm, ending exploitation and protecting natural habitats. The Trust runs the **Wildheart Animal Sanctuary**, situated on the Isle of Wight, which provides forever homes for animals who have suffered from exploitation and abuse. They encourage an inclusive and participatory approach to conservation/restoration of the naturalworld, with campaigning and conservation work supporting animals and habitats both here in the UK and overseas in Europe, Madagascar and India. They aim to end animal cruelty in captivity, whilst ensuring cohesive and well-functioning ecosystems in the wild.

They are seeking a **Head of Marketing and Communications**, who as part of their Senior Management team, will play an integral role in defining, leading, and driving their marketing and communications strategy. You will be responsible for developinga clear strategy with tactical and creative implementation on the ground to raise the organisation’s profile and ensure campaigns engage with all stakeholders, connecting with hearts and minds, to expand audiences, grow their supporter base, and drive income.
- 5 years+ experience in Marketing and/or Communications
- Skilled and experienced in marketing in a relevant environment - tourism, charity, visitor attraction/experience, conservation etc.
- Experience developing and implementing marcomms and/or audience development strategy
- Experience of managing multiple campaigns at once
- Creative expertise - ideas, events, and content to drive audience engagement
- Ability to manage budgets
- Line management experience is desired
