HESQ Coordinator

Job description

**We have a newly created position for a HESQ Coordinator, within UK Gases**

**Location: Hounslow, UK**

**Primary Responsibilities of Position / Roles**:
Administration of the Business Management System (360) and HESQ-related records
Support HESQ Team in maintenance of HESQ documentation and records in accordance to applicable internal and external (e.g. ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001) Standards
Delivery of the site-specific HESQ Plan
Conducting internal audits and inspections
Conducting routine HESQ checks against legislation and internal / external requirements
Reporting and investigating quality and HSE events
Undertaking risk assessments and COSHH assessments
Managing HESQ-related actions associated with the site
Hosting regular HESQ meetings and briefings
Promote a positive HESQ culture within the business, including promoting the reporting of near misses, unsafe conditions and improvement opportunities
Provide advice to workforce on HESQ requirements and standards
Ensuring the participation and involvement of workers in HESQ
Coordinate and conduct training (where qualified / authorised)
Completion of Client HESQ questionnaires
Conduct inductions

Job requirements

**Required Education & Experience**:
NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent)
Internal Auditor Qualification
Minimum of 3 years experience working in HESQ
Desirable:
Knowledge of FSSC 22001
Knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
NEBOSH General Certificate in Environmental Management

**Competencies**

Fluent English communication skills - verbal and written
Good report writing skills and attention to detail
Good organisational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software
Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
