As the Food and Beverage supervisor you will be responsible for assisting your senior manager in managing all F&B operations and for delivering an excellent guest experience.
Location: Grange Hotel, Station Square, Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria, LA11 6EJ
**Salary**: This is a full time position 40 hours a week and a Salary from £9.50 per hour
Your role:
- Take responsibility for the business performance of the Food & Beverage area.
- Create and execute plans for department sales, profit and staff development.
- Plan and coordinate menus, working closely with the head chef.
- Train, manage and motivate staff.
- Meet and greet guests, organise table reservations and offer advice about menu and wine choices.
- Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety.
- Check stock levels and place order accordingly.
- Open and close areas following correct procedure forms.
- Follow and implement all existing S.O.P.’s.
- Comply with licensing laws and other legal requirements.
- Prepare staff rota accordingly to the occupancy and maintain all relevant records.
- Attention to detail on all aspects of the job.
- Control of the existing operational equipment
- Report work related accidents or other injuries immediately upon occurrence.
- Ensure the smooth running of the events and functions.
- To be responsible for the smooth running and the safety of the hotel on the absence of Senor manager.
- Plan alternative recipes for guests with special dietary needs.
- Adhere to food, health and safety standards.
- Support your colleagues and assist coaching new starters through their probation periods.
- Undertake Duty Manager tasks.
