We are now looking for a Vehicle Rental Agent to help manage and organise the daily operation at our branch based in Welwyn Garden City.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Reporting into your Line Manager, working in collaboration with the AMT Central Reservation Team, Fleet Department and other AMT branches to ensure vehicle availability for all bookings and vehicle deliveries are planned and delivered on time, within set SLA’s, within your geographical area of responsibility.
- Ensure that you and your direct reports perform to achieve and exceed Branch targets for Operational KPI’s, Audits and SLA’s whilst adhering to set operating procedures and processes.
- Responsible for the day-to-day logistics of vehicle deliveries and collections, including the organisation and daily planning of a team of Drivers and support staff.
- Engage and motivate all drivers and all other key stakeholders, sharing best practice within the team at branch.
- Maximise the utilisation of the branch fleet in conjunction with all other key stakeholders, including Central Reservations, Fleet Department, and other AMT locations to support a fluid fleet approach to vehicle rental and to ensure branch adheres to Fleet SLA’s & KPI’s
- Work with the AMT Fleet Department based at our Head Office to ensure vehicle quality is maintained and appropriate damage is reported.
- Engage and motivate all direct reports, identifying and reward high performers and share best practice with the team in the branch.
- Compile, interpret and report back to Branch Manager ‘Performance Data’ for all areas of responsibility, providing solutions and recommendations on any actions that are required.
- Accurately process all administrative tasks associated with vehicle rental.

**About You**:
You will have:

- Previous logístical experience within a fast-paced, constantly changing environment is essential
- Vehicle Rental experience (desirable)
- A strong ‘can do’ attitude and possess the natural ability to get the best out of people.
- A resilient nature with excellent planning, organising and time management skills.
- An ability to work under pressure and be committed to meeting deadlines with the capability to manage multiple requirements and demands effectively and efficiently.
- A proven ability to deliver results at pace.
- Ability to adapt and respond well to change, you will be tenacious in delivering change effectively, communicate and networks well, and is able to adapt your communication style.
- IT literacy skills and be familiar with Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A keen eye for detail and possess accurate administration skills.
- A full driving licence.

The role is 40 hours per week, worked during branch opening hours.
