**About the Stock Control Role**:

- Working hours are Monday - Thursday, 7.30am-5.15pm & Friday, 7.30-1pm (1 hr lunch)
- Annual salary of £27K per annum
- 23 days + bank holidays annual leave

**As Stock Controller your Key Accountabilities will include**:

- Manage all aspects of stock, maintaining the correct stock levels required, and accuracy throughout the production facility and the stock management system
- Ensuring full understanding of the instructions prior to the commencement of the work has taken place
- Producing products to the planned production schedule and hours
- Champion your delegated area providing support in all colleagues areas
- Maintaining a High level of standard in Health and safety in the Production Facility

**Duties & Responsibilities for Stock Controller Role will include but not be limited to**:

- Process orders for shipping, providing accurate documentation in accordance with relevant legislation, customer and carrier requirements
- Assist with 'Goods In', ensuring distribution to accurate locations in a timely manner, registering the stock on the management system as soon as checks complete
- Liaison with the Procurement Manager and Production Leaders for any discrepancies or quality issues effectively and efficiently
- Support and suggest the effective management of inward & outward flow of stock
- Ensuring tight stock control and stock rotation using FIFO (First in, First out) principles
- Ensure that good housekeeping and Health and Safety Regulations are adhered to within the work area following H&S procedures
- To contribute, be involved in and actively support the continuous improvement process within every facet of the department
- Maintain knowledge of products and production process methods
- Implement and manage the stock take procedure
- Allocation of components on to Sage 50
- Allocation and issue of Stock to correct project within Sage 50
- Booking goods in using Sage 50 & run stock level reports
- Scan delivery notes and book in goods received using Sage 50
- Create Goods Return Notes and following Goods In procedure for COSHH
- Carry out any other duties as reasonably required

**Skills / Attributes required for Stock Controller role**:

- Satisfactory administrative software skills
- Pro-active nature, willing to learn quickly and take new challenges
- Appreciation of Goods In/Stores disciplines and Inventory/Stock management
- Attention to detail & organisational skills
- Good Interpersonal and communication skills
- Health and Safety awareness in warehouse environment
- Team working skills across all disciplines and departments
- Able to work to deadlines
- Forklift licence is desirable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £27,000.00 per year
