**Aufgaben**:
Assist the Health & Safety Advisor in providing functional Health & Safety advice, guidance and coaching to Project Teams. The position supports Health and Safety standards for the project.

Establish and promote best practice in health, safety, security, and environmental matters in conjunction with the HSSE department.

Responsible for:
Understand the Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures and statutory requirements as they affect the Project operations and ensure that the requirements are identified and implemented

Advise, guide and coach all personnel on the project with the implementation of the HSMS
Responsible to the Health & Safety Manager, advising on project compliance with the HSMS and statutory provisions
Responsible for maintaining the Health & Safety competence matrix
Support the production, review and implementation of the CPP
Support the accident/incident investigations procedure and timely communication of the findings
Monitoring of the project, trade contractors, designers, suppliers and assisting the Procurement Team
Assist with the development, regular review and update of the HSMS

Deliver relevant health & safety training where required including Inductions.
Set standards and lead by example in the management of health & safety
Maintain own level of knowledge and competency in relation to health & safety management and responsibilities including appropriate qualification and professional membership.
Obtain competency cards in line with Company Competence & Training Policy e.g. CSCS / CCNSG.
Collecting and maintaining incident reports and information.
Database management and interrogation - observation cards etc.

Ensure compliance with the Company policies and procedures
Manage the performance of all employees assigned to you in accordance with legislation and Company procedures.

Participate and engage fully in Company appraisal/performance review processes and constantly work to improve your individual, your team and the wider group’s performance.

**Qualifikationen**:
Required
NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate or equivalent NVQ.
NEBOSH General Certificate (Facilities activities - minimum).
CSCS Card

Desirable
Membership of IOSH - Tech IOSH.
Accident Investigation Trained

Required
Health and safety experience within the construction industry.
Fully aware of regulatory, legislative and Company requirements.
