The post holder will acquire all types of heritable property for the operational requirements of City Council services. Dispose of all types of heritable property declared surplus by the City Council through sale, lease and licence.

Manage corporate projects, property projects and give property advice to Corporate Working Groups, particularly with regard to valuation and property management issues, together with instructing and directing technical and other professional colleagues in the Council and external contractors in connection with such projects and disposals.

Understand the principles of good property Asset Management and the Council’s Property Asset Management Plan. Be able to give strategic and specific property advise.
