Dietitian

An opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic Dietitian to join our Nutrition support team as a band 5 Dietitian. We be able to offer you a broad range of experience in the community and across our small but friendly hospital working with a varied and diverse population group.

We have good IT facilities and administrative support and a commitment to providing CPD opportunities. The post holder would be expected to have excellent communication and time management skills.

The post holder will be provided with regular clinical supervision and extensive CPD opportunities

**The main duties of the job are**:

- To assess and monitor patients, offering therapeutic nutritional support and dietary education.
- Provide dietetic advice to medical, nursing and catering staff and other healthcare professionals in the integrated care team and other agencies.
- To maintain clinical responsibility for own caseload and that of delegated tasks and contribute to the Nutrition & Dietetic Service as a whole through participation in service development.
- To provide support and training for staff and students.
