**Job Description**:
We are looking for a Buyer/ Expeditor who will join the SEGULA Technologies growing UK Rail Engineering team to support one of our valued clients.

You will be entrusted with following responsibilities:

- Raising and issue all purchase orders to suppliers.
- Expediting late delivery dates, and where necessary, cancel or delay.
- Expediting the demand side of orders in Excel.
- Ensuring the customer has someone to take responsibility of shortages of materials.
- Responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination and management of procuring materials & equipment.
- Supporting with supply chain development and relations across the organisation.
- Looking for solutions to vendor errors, budget limitations and other problems as they arise.
- Performing clerical duties, maintaining records and following procedures, policies in place.

**Qualifications**:
**Essential**:

- Experience in Expediting or procurement / supply chain, within an Engineering/ Manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of Excel, Microsoft Projects (or similar project planning tools) and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP or similar)

- 3 - 6 month fixed term or inside IR35 contract
