The main purpose of this role:

- to supervise a warehouse team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of a section of order fulfilment at the company’s Online Distribution Centre.

Primary responsibilities:

- Supervising a team, including initial training, regular performance reporting and continual motivation
- Taking a hands-on approach to picking, packing and shipping parcels to ensure the highest service levels are achieved
- Upholding and improving health and safety practices
- Supporting with wider supervision of the warehouse operations.

A successful applicant should have:

- Experience in a warehouse environment with the physical capability to lift heavy boxes when required
- A positive attitude to building relationships, leading a team by example, and working independently
- Enthusiasm for developing product and wider business knowledge
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication and organisational skills
- Confidence using IT, including Office and stock management software.
