**E-Commerce Assistant**

Junior Edition is an ethical family run children's concept store. Over the past 7 years we have expanded significantly to become one of the UK's largest independent online retailers of ethically manufactured design led children's clothing, toys and homewares. In addition to our online store we also have a beautiful bricks and mortar store in the North Laine of Brighton.

We are excited to be offering the opportunity to take on a new full time e-commerce assistant to join our dynamic team. The position will be primarily based at our new purpose built Newhaven warehouse facility.

As an overview, the average working day will consist of 5-6 hours working with the web team, creating unique content, adding inventory and developing the customer facing experience. The remaining 2-3 hours of the day will be working alongside our dynamic warehouse team, checking in our beautiful new inventory, assuring the quality and accuracy of our inventory or fulfilling our customers' beautiful selections. This day can vary depending on the seasonal workload.

**Primary Responsibilities**

The primary responsibilities will include but no be exclusive to:

- Editing and labelling images to optimise natural traffic (Photoshop)
- Accurately adding amending inventory data to our system (Shopify)
- Writing accurate and engaging product descriptions

**Additional Responsibilities**

Additional duties will include but no be exclusive to:

- Processing incoming inventory
- Conducting stock takes
- Quality controlling returns
- Processing outgoing orders.

COVID-19 considerations:
Junior Edition has good housekeeping embedded within its culture and is purpose designed to allow all staff to work safely around each other. The primacies is secured throughout the day and all partners and members of the public are not permitted to enter.

**Education**:

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- E-commerce: 3 years (required)
