Due to continued growth we have a vacancy for an additional **General Maintenance Person** to provide ongoing and preventative maintenance and repairs across GWA and our associated company locations.

**The Role**
We are looking for someone who will take pride in maintaining our buildings to the highest possible standards, both internally and externally, as well as providing support to our Partners.

Our Berwick-upon-Tweed office is situated in the town centre and is a new state-of-the-art premises. We also have storage buildings close by. Our Haddington office is a three storey building situated in St Ann’s Place, near the town centre. Our sister company Three Counties Limited, is based at Bournmoor, County Durham and is a modern barn conversion on a small business park developed from original farm buildings.

Key skills and attributes which would be desirable include:

- previous experience in a similar role eg. joinery, garden, building, plumbing and electrics
- experience in and excellent painting and decorating skills
- awareness of health and safety requirements
- a hands-on, ‘can do’ attitude and a confident and friendly manner
- the ability to work unsupervised
- good time management with the ability to work flexibly and to deadlines
- good communication and organisational skills

A company van will be available to allow you to carry out your responsibilities and therefore a clean and full driving license is required.

Salary will be based on experience and qualifications. Employees also receive a good range of benefits including paid overtime, death in service benefit, and a contributory pension.
