**Role Summary**:
We are seeking a Scrum Master to lead our development team, ensuring adherence to Agile principles, facilitating the smooth execution of scrum practices, and maintaining a focus on achieving high-quality outcomes. The Scrum Master will act as a facilitator, coach, and problem-solver, helping to remove impediments and promote an environment where the development team can thrive and deliver software efficiently.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Ensure team adherence to Agile principles and practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with product owners to manage product backlogs and prioritise tasks based on project needs.
- Assist with the definition of project scope and goals, as well as project tracking and reporting.
- Support the development team in identifying and addressing bottlenecks, clearing obstacles, and reallocating resources as necessary to keep the process flowing.
- Guide and mentor junior developers in task assignment and Agile methodologies.
- Work closely with QA to streamline the testing process and ensure that quality assurance is embedded in the development process.
- Enforce Work In Progress (WIP) limits and ensure focus on task completion to maintain a steady pipeline of deliverables.
- Promote a collaborative team environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and a shared sense of accountability.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role in Agile software development teams.
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artefacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).
- Good skills in facilitating, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
- Certified Scrum Master/Scrum Practitioner will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance methodologies.
