Bakery Operative

**RE Recruitment are looking for bakery packers and bakers to join our prestigious client based in Alcester.**

Bakery Packers are responsible for carefully packing bakery products into the relevant packaging, cleaning packaging equipment, loading items into containers, and weighing and labelling the items appropriately. They also perform final checks for damaged products, ensure all product has been made to the correct specification and keep detailed records of qty, best before dates and batch numbers.

We are looking to expand our bakery team, they are passionate and strive to provide high quality handmade and hand decorated cakes. As part of the team, you will work with colleagues to maintain our high standards of product quality, cleanliness and delivering your unique signature to the cakes you create.

**Responsibilities**:

- Creating hand made and hand decorated cakes.
- Utilising our mixers, blenders, ovens, and other new equipment to create fantastic cakes such as sponge cakes, loaf cakes, tray bakes, cup cakes, fruit pies and so much more for our customers across the UK and internationally.
- Ability to be flexible to develop your skills and support our team of decorators and even have training within our packing team.
- Working closely with our technical and quality team through testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets our stringent food safety and quality controls.
- Maintaining of our food safety quality records.
- Ensuring the bakery meets set standards and restocking of workstations to meet production volumes while ensuring equipment is cleaned and maintained in preparation for the following team on the next shift.
- Pack and label baked items ready for picking.
- Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging.
- Identify and dispose of damaged / incorrectly baked product.
- Properly use packaging materials, including L sealers and label printers.
- Keep complete records of all products that go through the packing area.
- Maintain a clean work area.

Shifts:
6am-2pm - £10.00ph

2pm-10pm -10.00 ph

10pm-6am -10.00 ph
