Office Cleaner

Are you a hard-working and time-conscious person? Do you have cleaning experience within a public or commercial building? In this role, you will be responsible for the cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuuming and dusting of designated areas. Read on to find out more about this exciting opportunity.

**Main Duties**:

- The cleaning, washing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, emptying litter bins, polishing and dusting of designated areas (which includes toilets, shower rooms, changing rooms and associated facilities) and fixtures and fittings, using where appropriate, the necessary powered equipment.
- To ensure adequate supplies of hand towels, soaps and toilet paper in all deport toilet facilities.
- To report any internal damage or maintenance requirements noted during cleaning tasks to the Facilities Coordinator.
- To store away and keep a stock of cleaning materials.
- To assist the catering assistant with catering duties in the absence of the cook.
- Carry out all the duties of the post in the working conditions normally inherent in the job.
- Carry out duties in compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act, COSHH regulations, Acts of Parliament, Statutory Instruments and Regulations and other legal requirements; and all Policies and Procedures including Dignity at Work, Health and Safety, Attendance and all relevant Codes of Conduct.
- Complete all documentation associated with the duties of the post.
- Participate in staff training and development activities to update and enhance knowledge, skills and competence required to fulfil the role in full.
- Undertake the duties in such a way as to enhance and promote the positive reputation of the organisation.

**Personal Attributes**:

- A minimum of 6 months cleaning experience within a public or commercial building.
- Experience operating electrical and mechanical cleaning equipment.
- Hold a full valid UK driving licence.

**Remuneration and Conditions of Assignment**:

- £9.60 per hour.
- Part-time, Temporary-ongoing.
- 8am-1pm Monday-Wednesday.
