**Position Summary**:
This position is responsible for supporting the Operations and Quality teams in day-to-day IT matters.

**Position Reports to**:
IT Director

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Troubleshoot Network, Server, software, Security issues to resolution.
- Providing technical support and general assistance to Xerimis personnel with the Xerimis Inventory control system and other Computerised systems.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as system updates, patches, and backups.
- Serve as a liaison for contracted services to repair, upgrade and replace computerized systems and equipment.
- Assist in the deployment and management of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems.
- Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and installations.
- Assist in the Validation activities for Computerised systems.
- Assist in maintaining a 21 CFR Part 11 and Annex 11 compliant environment where required.
- Attend regular meetings with the IT team to determine the sequence of operations.
- Ensure positive relationships are built and maintained with all involved parties (business, team, suppliers).
- Ensure that knowledge and experience is well documented and shared with colleagues.
- Adhere to roles and responsibilities as described by ITIL.
- Constantly educate Business in the value constraints of IT.
- Follow-up on the lifecycle management of hardware such as laptops and desktops, printers, video conference systems and software license management
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in the IT field.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)**:

- Associate Degree or Technical Certifications in IT / IS with relevant equivalent work experience.
- Experience in a similar role in an international and distributed IT environment.
- Experience working with Windows10 and 11, Office365, PowerShell, Azure, Active Directory, Group Policies and SQL.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes.
- Strong technical skills in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- The ability to explain technical issues to non-technical people.
- Experience with providing remote support to end users.
- Understanding IT infrastructure and security architectures.
- Planning, project coordination and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication, both verbally and written, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- General mathematical skills
- Basic to intermediate working knowledge of computer networking, server and workstation maintenance, Microsoft networks and other IT related topics.
- Attention to detail.
- Familiarity with cGMPs
- Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11 and EU GMP Annex 11 regulations
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) are a plus.

**Physical Demands and Work Environment**:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee maybe exposed to the warehouse and operations (packaging) environment including occasional exposure to elements such as odour, noise, dust, heat, cold or chemicals. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and training will be provided. Good vision and close attention to detail is required.
