- Fully trained degree or postgraduate town planning and/or architecture or historic building conservation.
- Membership of a recognised professional body (IHBC, RIBA, RTPI) or associate membership working towards professional recognition.
- Extensive knowledge of Conservation law and practice, Historic Heritage, Town and Country Planning Acts, Urban Design & Building construction Planning, Compulsory Purchase Act, Government Planning Policy Guidance
- Experience of working in a planning environment
