Transport Administrator

Transport Administrator -Coleford - Permanent - night shift - paying £26000 to £28000 per annum.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Transport Clerk to join our clients Operational Team on site at Coleford.
Other duties of the Transport Administrator include:
" Reporting to the Transport Managers
" To ensure all relevant information is gathered on time, accurately and in the correct format
" To assist in an effective and efficient transport administration service
" Undertake general duties that support the Transport Team Managers, i.e. answering the phone, issuing vehicle keys, allocating work.
" Check daily delivery documents to ensure correct store delivery and highlight issues as appropriate. Assist in any investigation regarding discrepancies / adverse results.
" Managing drivers' hours and infringements.
" Liaise very warehouse teams to achieve the most effective loading schedule.
To be successful in this role ideally you will display:
" Experience of working within a transport environment an advantage.
" Good Knowledge of driver's hours and WTD.
" Ability to work on your own initiative, working to strict deadlines.
" A good communicator both verbal and written.
" Excellent PC skills.
" Working knowledge of WMS & Freighther would be advantageous although full training will be given.
" Must be punctual, reliable, and committed to achieve daily and weekly KPI's.
