**Principal Mission Systems Engineer (Naval / Combat)**

**Bristol, WFH for 3 days a week**

Are you a Principal Mission Systems Engineer or similar with experience of Combat / Communications / Navigation / Networks integration, looking to work for the largest Engineering and Rail Powerhouse who drive British shipbuilding expertise as a world leaderin naval platforms, giving the chance to be the go-to technical expert within the team?

You will act as a technical authority to develop designs through concept and early-stage design as well as supporting the bidding process, and then contributing to the integration / installation into Naval Ships. This will include Specification, selectionand management of external suppliers as required. In addition, manage risk within the project lifecycle and supporting the assessment of sensor and weapon suites for concept designs. In addition, you will act to authorize design documentation, chair and/orcontribute to Design Reviews, manage bid responses and representing the department as required.

**THE PERSON**:

- Mission Systems Engineer
- Experience integrating Combat / Communications / Navigation / Networks into marine platforms
- Relevant Qualifications / Experience

**THE ROLE**:

- You will act as a technical authority to develop designs through concept and early-stage design as well as supporting the bidding process, and then contributing to the integration / installation into Naval Ships.
