An outstanding job opportunity has arisen for a committed CBT Therapist to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Hale, Manchester area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers
The hospital has an established reputation for providing the highest standards of care together with an extensive range of clinical services. The hospital has residential facilities for patients as well as busy day care and outpatient services
**To be considered for this position you must have a recognised post graduate diploma in CBT theory and practice**
**As the CBT Therapist your key responsibilities include**:
- Support the delivery of our acute mental health inpatient and outpatient group therapy programmes and to deliver individual therapy to both outpatients and inpatients admitted to this service
- Will be involved in the facilitation of specialist psycho-educational and relapse prevention therapy groups, individual sessions, and the completion of assessments and treatment plans for a range of patients
- Required to complete 60% of their contracted hours as clinical face-to-face hours
- The role will involve a blended approach of both face-to-face and remote working
**The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role**:
- Be interested in dynamic therapy with clients who are motivated to change
- Have experience of and actively use DBT skills & techniques
- Provide high quality interventions in accordance with NICE guidance
- Be an inspirational collaborator with excellent communication skills
- Have previous experience in the area of acute mental health
- Be skilled in the facilitation of a range of group interventions
- Be an accredited CBT therapist or working towards accreditation
**The successful CBT Therapist will receive an excellent salary of £38,000 - £48,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits**:
