- We have a fabulous, thriving 105 seat, Coffee Shop, plus additional seating in our outdoor area.

**About the Role ?**
- First and foremost, you will be part of a supportive, hardworking team.
- Maintain a high standard of personal and food hygiene and adhere to food safety regulations.
- Liaise with the Coffee Shop Manager and Supervisors.
- Welcoming our customers into our Coffee Shop.
- Advising and making recommendations regarding food and drinks choices and be aware of allergen information.
- Assist in the preparation of hot drinks, meeting the required standards.
- Take orders and use the till, handling cash and card transactions using an EPOS till system.
- Organising cakes & scones for orders.
- Delivering food and drinks to customer’s tables in our busy Coffee Shop.
- Clearing and cleaning tables.
- Replenishing fridge cabinets.
- Ensure the Coffee Shop is kept clean at all times.
- Provide a friendly and efficient service to all our customers.
- Handling customer enquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Working collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure customers are presented with their meal to a high standard and on time.
- Developing your knowledge of dietary requirements and health & hygiene.
- Provide a safe, secure and appealing food environment by adhering to the business Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Cleaning of equipment, using the dishwasher.
- Returning washed items to their correct storage location.
- Unloading and putting away deliveries.
- Assist in controlling stock and minimising wastage.
- Ensure stock rotation is adhered to.
- Ensure kitchen equipment is in correct working order and report any problems to the relevant department.
- Empty bins, clean and mop floors.
- Deep clean fridges and store rooms.

**Ideally you will**
- Have experience of working in a kitchen environment.
- Understand kitchen equipment.
