Independence Mobility are a mobility equipment retailer that supplies a vast range of products including wheelchairs, specialist seating, riser recliners and trikes. Also, within the Independence Mobility group we have Medical Hire, a specialist provider of medical equipment for TV, film and stills. Due to company growth we are looking to expand by employing a new Warehouse Storeman/woman to join our friendly team.

We are looking to recruit an individual that has a hands-on approach and previous experience in a similar role is essential.

The typical responsibilities of a Warehouse Storeman/woman will include:

- Receive, check and examine inventory of stock arriving into the warehouse
- Picking, packing and unpacking
- Execute stock inventories and control measures
- Maintaining cleanliness and good housekeeping within the warehouse
- Marking, labelling and allocation of stock
- Operating an electric pallet truck and handheld scanners
- A highly motivated individual with a great work ethic
- Works quickly and methodically with excellent organisational skills
- Ability to show initiative when working alone whilst also demonstrating the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
- Safety conscious attitude towards all tasks undertaken
- Demonstrate pride in quality of workmanship
- Full, clean driving licence and the ability to drive a Transit LWB sized van

The role is a full-time, permanent one, working 5 days per week with the potential/flexibility of working some Saturdays based on business needs.

**Salary**: From £11.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
