What you'll do- Work closely with teams across Europe from Data, Product, Technology and our Sales and Marketing teams to define our marketing technology strategy.- Take ownership of our existing marketing technologies that support our streaming services and define and develop the Roadmap across Europe.- Lead initiatives that span across our different business units and geographies to assess current and future capabilities - including running vendor RFI’s and RFP’s, collaborating with technology and business stakeholders to identify the right partners and solutions.- Provide leadership on key strategic discussions and decisions that will shape how we support our business stakeholders across Europe and in the US.- Collaborate with our Data, Marketing, Product and Technology leaders to support strategy and prioritization recommendations and decisions a- Lead the standardisation and simplification agenda - working closely with in-market teams to identify opportunities to adopt common technologies, frameworks, practices, and policies- You’ll work closely with your peers, to ensure the platforms you develop support local market regulation.- You will lead key pieces of work that will influence our product plans and the associated operating model, informed by understanding market trends, business value and customer outcomes- Foster a continuous improvement culture in the team, by using data, insight and delivery metrics, providing actionable information to help drive key decisions- Lead a team of c.5 Product Owners and Product Analysts and engage external partners and specialists- Drive a culture of developing inclusive products aligned with Sky’s commitments to diversity and inclusion

What you’ll bring- A passion for media and technology - it’s at the core of everything we do- A proven track record of developing products in a fast paced and inclusive environment- Experience of working with Marketing Technologies to enable business growth- You will have worked in an environment where personalisation of customer journeys was at the forefront of your work- Proven track record influencing and working with decision makers to drive strategic decisions- You’ll have worked in a multi-market environment, and be confident in understanding and articulating the needs of different stakeholders, and leading cross-market groups to a consensus or recommendation- A passion for data, with experience using large-scale analytics and data to shape business decisions- You’ll be able to demonstrate having built relationships with stakeholders from a diverse range of disciplines, cultures, and geographies- Demonstrable experience of having built effective and trusted relationships with senior stakeholders- Confident communication skills across a broad technology and business landscape.- Highly collaborative style and able to thrive in a team with experience of operating in a matrix structure, in fast paced organisations.- Restless and curious, able to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills

Team Overview

The Marketing Technology team deliver capability that allows us to attract, engage & retain customers and measure the effectiveness of our journeys and marketing spend, utilising best-in-class tech solutions. The team will focus on:
- Deepening of Martech specialisms and greater alignment and visibility across the group to drive additional value and economies of scale- Future-proofing Martech stack to drive media efficiencies and ensure campaign effectiveness through deployment of new capabilities- Embedding best practice technologies and championing their adoption to further consolidate technology choices- Ensuring stellar customer experience by helping select and deliver consistent, personalised, cross-channel journey orchestration and optimisation- Building internal Martech capabilities to enable & empower teams a\cross Sky Residential & Group OTT and to drive operating efficiencies
