We are responsible for underpinning the delivery of broadband services to the UKs largest ISP customer base - we have a massive impact on millions of customer daily lives.
- This specific role is accountable for the quality of these services and for leading the team through a new phase of DevOps transformation.

**This role follows hybrid working in BT's Ipswich office**

**What you’ll be doing**
- Driving and delivering the Integration and Test Strategy for new Broadband Products that are featured by complex integration with numerous vendors and 3rd parties.
- Manage test chapter of professionals with appropriate skills, attitudes and motivation.
- Work with the Leadership Team and Squads to ensure that quality assurance, functional test and non functional test are fully owned by Squads as part of the entire lifecycle of the Products.
- Test environment responsibilities:

- Co-ordinate the work of multiple squads to build and maintain a stable test environment.
- Continuous improvement of automated tracking, configuration control and versioning systems.
- Continuous improvement of automated dashboard, monitoring and alarming solution.
- Defects management - resolution, co-ordination, investigation (triage) for complex E2E integration issues.
- Skills required for the job
- Strong automation skills (tool agnostic) and the ability to drive initiatives to automate processes.
- Infrastructure automation skills
- Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Extensive/proven experience the quality assurance and integration test domain.
- Leadership and mentoring.
- Experience in network testing.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to influence change.
- Test experience in an ISP background experience desired (LNS, Radius, CDN, etc..)
- Experience you would be expected to have
- Technical domain expert: evidence of significant knowledge and skill in testing and Automation domains
- Significant delivery: evidence of significant business impact through delivery of quality assurance and Automation (MANDATORY)
- Stakeholder management: evidence of managing project stakeholders across the business at a variety of grade and seniority levels.
- Innovative Thinker: ability to spot and identify new innovations and act to bring them in and capitalise and create value
