Roydon Marina Village is an exclusive holiday lodge resort located in the Lee Valley Regional Park, which features a 32-acre lake, marina, residential homes and holiday lodges, hotel rooms and our Boathouse Café Bar and we are just a 5-minute walk from Roydon railway station and central London is only a 30-minute train ride away.

The 40 cover Boathouse Cafe Bar is set on the beautiful marina front, with additional seating outside in the beer garden for the warmer months. We have a small but friendly kitchen and front of house team. We are looking for a passionate Café Bar Manager with exceptional customer service skills to oversee the day to day running of our busy cafe bar and drive the revenue and team forward.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Develop new ideas to generate revenue and make savings to improve GP.
- Work with the management team to develop our food, drink and event offering.
- Ensure the smooth running of events and day to day operations.
- Complete competitor analysis and market trends.
- Work with the marketing department to produce materials and promote the business.
- Liaise with the Guest Relations and Reservations Manager to cross promote onsite facilities
- Be responsible for team meetings and training sessions.
- Be responsible for stock control and cleanliness routines/ checks to maintain standards.
- When required, open up, cash up and close the premises unsupervised.
- Complete weekly paperwork for Head Office including income sheets, employee timesheets and purchase orders.
- Train and develop our front of house team to provide exceptional customer service.
- Be confident in leading and managing a team, setting the staffing rota in advance and tracking holiday requests.
- Be responsible for the business and premises.
- Maintain checks and records to ensure our compliance with Health and Safety, Fire, Environmental Health and Licensing.
- Have an awareness of COSHH and allergen training.
- Provide kitchen cover, preparing food, complete Safer Food, Better Business compliance.

**Salary**: From £11.50 per hour
