**MACHINE ASSEMBLY AND SERVICE TECHNICIAN / WINSFORD / £27,000 TO £36,000 PER ANNUM**

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business, with great career prospects, as a **Machine Assembly and Service Technician**.

Maximator UK is the UK partner of a Global High pressure equipment leader based in Germany. We specialise in high pressure pumps, gas boosters, compressors and Hydrogen refuelling equipment. We are a small team, assembling and servicing a wide range of high-pressurefluid and gas equipment.

We are looking for an experienced **Machine Assembly and Service Technician** to help build, install, commission and service Maximator high pressure gas and fluid equipment and systems at our factory in Winsford and at customer sites in theUK and Ireland.

You will be very technically competent, with at least 4 years of experience after your training or apprenticeship. You will have experience in fixing machines and/or systems, and of travelling and working on site in the UK.

Flexibility is one of your most important qualities. Good communication skills are important, as you will have to deal directly with, and satisfy our customers, as well as getting on well with your colleagues.

**Key Responsibilities of the Machine Assembly and Service Technician**:

- Assembly of bespoke machinery designed in house at Maximator UK.
- Servicing of Maximator UK’s core product range both in house and on customer sites depending on the requirements.
- Direct contact with customers, generally for servicing and operation of our products.
- Preparation of quotations for service.
- Assistance with planning and stock control.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers and provide technical support when needed.
- Contribution to the company’s technical support resources for internal and external users.
- Servicing and repair, installation, and commissioning of the company’s products.
- Travel and work on external sites (generally max 5 days per 2 months).

**Skills and Experience Required**
- Experience of working hands-on in manufacturing environment.
- Precision pipe bending skills - can be gained on the job.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring / PLC functionality is a bonus, but not necessary.
- Clean driving licence.
- Demonstrate a flexible 'can do’ attitude.
- Self-motivated, organised, and enthusiastic with an eye for detail.
- Able to work individually and to thrive as part of the Maximator UK team.
- Excellent communicator internally and with customers and is naturally customer focused.
